Matthew Foreman is Of Counsel to MFO LAW, P.C. He advises entrepreneurs and business owners on business formation, registration and incorporation. Mr. Foreman evaluates entity structure, acquisitions, spin-offs and sales of businesses.
He represents partnerships, partners and LLCs, and advises on allocations of income and expenses, sales and liquidations of ownership interests, and other partnership anti-abuse rules.
Mr. Foreman advises domestic businesses and individuals doing business in other countries. He is also experienced in state and local taxation issues, with an emphasis on sales, use, income, and franchise taxes throughout the country.
In 2018, Mr. Foreman was rated by Super Lawyers as a New York Metro Rising Star in the field of taxation.
